Job Overview:
Tuesday to Friday 35-40 hrs per week
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This is a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for timely deliveries.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery van or truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages and products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and customer receipts
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and address their needs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
