Here at McMahon's Best-One, we are committed to our customers, the services we provide, our local community and to our fantastic employees. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our current team of top notch drivers. Your main responsibility will be delivering tires and related products to our customers and other job duties include, but are not limited to: Essential Functions Safely operate a 24' box truck (no CDL required) or 1-ton pickup with up to 22' trailer Monitor the need for maintenance or major repairs by completing the Pre & Post Trip Inspection checklist for each trip. Read maps and follow geographic directions Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards. Load vehicle at company location Unload vehicle at customer location Check delivered products against shipping papers Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks Perform general housekeeping duties Convey receipts, documents, and payment to company Perform all applicable tasks within company’s time standards Meet the requirements outlined in the company’s evaluation form Other duties as assigned Requirements Prior experience in delivery driving or a related field preferred. Good knowledge of local roads and routes. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong customer service skills. Reliable and punctual. Physical Demands/Work Environment Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high. Squatting, bending, and twisting: frequent Sitting/driving for extended periods of time. Read ticket and perform work listed Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception) Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment) Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season. PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves).
