At Farmingdale Meat Market, our Delivery Drivers are the face of our company, and this role requires prompt delivery of customer orders while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Ideal Delivery Driver candidates must value safety and quality, and demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to work in a fast-paced work environment. Reliability, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are musts for this role. The schedule for this position is based on a 7 day/week operation, so workdays and start times will fluctuate on a week-to-week basis due to production. One weekend day/week is required. Responsibilities ● Ensure timely delivery of customer orders ● Review orders prior to delivery ● Load and unload trucks ● Unload goods to customer specifications ● Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Farmingdale Meat Market, Inc. reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications ● Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred ● Experience: 1-3 years minimum or related experience ● Driver’s license ● Ability to work weekend shifts ● Flexibility to work on-call ● Ability to lift orders and load and unload delivery trucks Skills ● General knowledge of meat products is a plus! ● Knowledge of Long Island and New York roadways ● Bilingual a plus FARMINGDALE MEAT MARKET, INC. is an equal opportunity employer.
