The Deliver Driver / Operations Associate role reports to the Packaging & Operations Manager.
As our Deliver Driver / Operations Associate you’ll be based
in our main facility in Burnside and be responsible for local licensee deliveries, transfers between our locations, pickups and errands as well as supporting the packaging and operations team daily through picking orders and building pallets.
What you’ll do…

In the warehouse:

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
• Load and unload pallets, cases and kegs (20L & 50L)
• Some admin work printing / posting invoices
• Clean and fill kegs and clean / maintain brewery where needed
• Helping to fulfill other orders

On the road:

• Deliver packaged and kegged product to customers in HRM and return empty kegs
• Deliver great customer service and represent Burnside Brewing professionally
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and report any issues with routes, vehicle or deliveries
• Run errands and pick up brewery supplies as needed

A successful candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Friendly, courteous and accommodating when dealing with customers & licensees
• Ability to work independently (on the road) and in a team setting (warehouse and sales team communication)
• Good route planner
• Dependable, detail-oriented and punctual
• Must be able to lift 25kg and 55kg repeatedly
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean abstract
• The following skills aren’t necessary but would be considered an asset:
• Handy / mechanically inclined
• Computer skills
• Delivery, forklift or warehouse experience
• Must be able to withstand intense physical labour throughout the day

Salary and Benefits:

• $18-22 Hourly wage based on experience and skill level
