JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
• Basic automotive repair skills are a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting of vehicle issues on the road.

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during the delivery process.
• Assist in the maintenance and minor repairs of delivery vehicles as needed.
