Description Job Summary: The Delivery Driver for Freedom Courier will be responsible for transporting HVAC equipment and appliance parts from our distribution centers to store locations, primarily during after-hours. This position involves long routes, extended hours, and requires flexibility and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and customer-focused, with a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a commitment to providing reliable service and support in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver to various store locations after normal business hours • Load, secure, and transport equipment and parts in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring all items are accounted for • Complete delivery routes that may require long hours and travel over extended distances • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods • Pick up and return any undelivered items, ensuring all products are returned to the distribution center as required • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe vehicle, ensuring that it is regularly serviced and inspected • Report any vehicle maintenance needs to management • Communicate with the dispatch team and supervisors to confirm delivery details, delays, or issues • Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including logs and receipts • Assist with unloading and stocking equipment at store locations as necessary • Handle store interactions professionally and courteously, addressing any issues or concerns as needed • Load/unload trucks and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures • Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management Requirements Qualifications & Skills: • Must submit a passing MVR, background check, and drug screen • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to drive long distances and complete extended hours, including nights and weekends • Excellent time management skills and the ability to follow detailed schedules and routes • Good communication skills, with the ability to report issues and follow instructions clearly • Must be dependable and able to handle unpredictable schedules and last-minute changes • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Familiarity with basic tools and safety standards • Prior delivery experience preferred Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time while remaining focused and alert • Strong physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials • Ability to lift and move products up to 75 pounds • Capability to load and unload heavy equipment, sometimes using lifting tools, dollies, or hand trucks
