JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking two reliable and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team here in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. The role may also include general daily tasks in the Depot, re-stocking the Cash & Carry warehouse, general yard maintenance and serving customers.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as a delivery driver would be an advantage.
• A valid driver’s licence is required
• Experience of using a Fork Lift Truck would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• A good understanding of navigation systems and local routes will be beneficial for efficient deliveries.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary, to include 50Kg bags.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or queries from customers promptly and collecting customer payments
