Description RTI is seeking a reliable Full-Time or Part-Time Delivery Driver to safely operate a company box truck, plan efficient routes, and accurately transport parcels. In this role, you will handle loading and unloading, perform daily vehicle inspections, and provide professional customer service at every stop. What You’ll Be Doing: Planning and completing an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day Loading delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery and securing loads using straps or locks to prevent damage during transit. Delivering parcels to correct addresses and obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary Picking up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested Maintaining basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made Inspecting the vehicle daily (checking fluids, tires, brakes) and ensuring that the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reporting larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor Assisting in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed Performing other related duties as assigned Requirements What You’ll Need: Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to drive safely while remaining professional and courteous at all times Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps Ability to plan delivery routes, maintain basic logs and records, and carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required.)
