Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Driver to join our team to assist with the transportation of goods. The role involves delivering items to various local locations, maintaining and driving the delivery vehicle whilst ensuring we meet our customers expectations.
Duties:
- Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move items safely
- Communicate effectively with the store team and customers during deliveries
- Navigating routes and locations
- Driving the delivery van
- Ensure the safe transportation of goods from the store to delivery points
- Maintaining the condition, cleanliness and daily checks for the delivery vehicle
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or as a delivery driver is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Familiarity with commercial driving practices is beneficial
- Valid driving licence for van driving
