Description Delivery Driver picks up and delivers product locally. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading the items from their vehicles. Ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations. Including performing routine inspections and maintenance on their vehicle. Requirements Essential Functions Move, handle and transport product to and from destinations Arrive at destinations on schedule Interact with vendors professionally at all times Ensure that vehicle is fueled and ready for use Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date Operate tools and equipment safely; generator, trailer, vehicle Perform general cleaning and stocking duties Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude Function as a team member and get along with others Adhere to daily work schedule Work weekends, any shift, holidays and overtime as needed Work in a fast-paced environment Perform other duties as needed or assigned Knowledge, skills and abilities Knowledge of equipment and automotive maintenance Working knowledge of trailers and generators Time management Customer service Positive attitude Friendly and approachable Self-motivated Multi-tasking Attention to detail Physical requirements Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting, Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 110lbs Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet entire shift Push/pull a loaded pallet with manual pallet jack Push/pull a loaded stock cart Operate heavy equipment; forklift, etc. Work with motor oils and lubricants Work in weather extremes Work around hay, dust, coal and other outdoor plant pollens Work around animals; sheep, etc. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous Driver experience preferred (minimum of one year) Previous industry experience preferred Age requirement Minimum age 21 MVR clearance from insurance company required
