Description Accountabilities Deliver Materials to customer location with a company vehicle Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards. Open bales, crates and other containers. Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory. Prepare material for distribution and other entities. On occasion, deliver materials intrastate to other company stores as needed. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize delivery vehicles and work areas for orderliness. Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service. Wear the proper safety equipment. Forklift operation for various tasks, including maintenance. Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications. Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
