OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate routes efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Experience with commercial driving is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with route driving and local area navigation is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Utilize warehouse experience for effective organization of items before loading for delivery.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages as required during deliveries.
• Assist in managing stock within the warehouse as needed, including using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• 4 Day working week - Tuesday to Friday
