OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate different types of vehicles and equipment. A successful Delivery Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
  • Valid AZ / DZ license (air brake endorsement required).
  • Must be able to drive standard (manual) transmission.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and best practices for transportation logistics.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are a plus, enabling quick troubleshooting of vehicle issues on the road.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
  • A valid forklift License
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including a 53 ft trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shipper, receiver and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  • Assist in the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading materials.
  • Assist warehouse team (when not driving) - with organizing inventory, moving products, and maintaining cleanliness in the facility.
