Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to pick up, transport, and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner. Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care to avoid damage. Verify and reconcile delivery information such as addresses, invoices, or delivery notes. Maintain communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues. Follow assigned routes and schedules, optimizing delivery efficiency and fuel usage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies. Assist in warehouse operations when needed (sorting packages, staging deliveries, etc.). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record. At least 1-year local driving experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (logistics experience is an asset). Ability to operate GPS and navigation apps confidently. Basic record-keeping or smartphone app usage skills for logging deliveries. Good physical stamina. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends, evenings, and overtime when required.
