Looking for a hard-working, reliable individual to work as a warehouse assistant and complete deliveries on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.
use your own vehicle to pick up orders in Barrie and deliver to Simcoe County and the GTA - must be comfortable driving anywhere in our delivery area including downtown Toronto
Duties:
- Assist with warehouse duties such as unloading boxes, inventory counts, stocking, pre-packing items.
- Safely and efficiently operate your vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities before leaving the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Use application on your phone to track and complete deliveries
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
- Excellent time management skills, reliability and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks
