Hourigan’s Flooring, a large locally owned flooring store, is looking to hire an additional full-time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate. The successful candidate will be qualified and comfortable operating a 3-ton and 5-ton truck and will be in good physical condition with a clean driving record and a valid BC license. This position includes loading, unloading, and lifting/carrying flooring and flooring related products into customers’ homes and active job sites. This is a physically demanding position (lifting in excess of 50lbs), with regular full-time hours Monday-Friday. A background in construction, home improvement or moving would be an asset. JOB QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

· Excellent customer service skills.
· Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
· Excellent physical fitness, the ability and willingness to load, unload and carry heavy materials at job sites.
· A positive attitude and the willingness to work as part of our warehouse team and the flexibility to contribute as needed.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

· Driving and delivering to customers’ homes and job sites, primarily in the Victoria area but occasionally to the Gulf Islands and further up Vancouver Island.
· Moving materials between our two warehouses.
· Working in the warehouse receiving, locating, and loading flooring materials into customers’ vehicles.
· Utilizing company ERP systems and warehouse machinery for daily operations.
· Other general warehouse duties as needed, including organization and cleanup.
