OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and maintaining a well-organized distribution environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license
  • Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating and troubleshooting warehouse equipment.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Familiarity with order picker systems and heavy equipment operation.
  • License to operate a forklift is preferred.
  • Organization and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • A strong understanding of safety practices within a warehouse setting is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.

Responsibilities

Operating Half-Ton Truck:

  • Inspecting their delivery vehicle
  • Transporting goods to customers and company facilities

Quality Assurance:

  • Inspecting material/supplies when received Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and communicate with management when general maintenance is necessary
  • Verifying shipments, and loading and unloading goods to be transported

Operating Heavy Equipment:

  • Such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to move products safely within the warehouse.

Conducting Warehouse Operations:

  • Receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Participate in order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping items accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse layout to facilitate smooth operations and easy access to inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting physical counts, and reconciling inventory, assist with stock replenishment as necessary.

Logistics and Transportation:

  • Managing the logistics for transporting goods to customers and company facilities, including communicating with drivers and transport companies.
  • Plan delivery travel schedules and service routes

Problem Solving:

  • Addressing issues that arise in the warehouse, resolving conflicts.

Organization and Filing:

  • Printing, Reviewing, Filing and Processing Picking Tickets.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse layout to facilitate smooth operations and easy access to inventory.

Workplace Safety:

  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
