Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse duties with delivery driving, ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of timber products nationwide, alongside supporting warehouse operations including goods-in, stock control, and order preparation.
This position requires someone reliable, practical, and customer-focused, with the ability to handle physical work and adapt to changing priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving & Delivery

  • Safely deliver timber products to customer sites nationwide, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed with the correct paperwork.
  • Report delivery issues, damages, or customer feedback promptly.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Represent Think Timber professionally on customer sites.

Warehouse Operations

  • Pick, pack, load, and unload timber products accurately and safely.
  • Assist with goods-in, including checking deliveries, labelling, and booking stock into the system.
  • Carry out quality checks on incoming goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift licence desirable, training can be provided).
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
