We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to join the World Check One team, as part of the Nottingham-based, Risk Intelligence Product Engineering organisation.
The role will report into the Senior Delivery Manager and will play a crucial role in guiding our Agile teams to success through leading the planning and execution of delivery across the development and release lifecycle for one or two Scrum development teams.
You will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within scope. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will help us continuously improve our processes and deliver high-quality products.
It is encouraged that the candidate is likely to have experience handling the outputs and dependencies of multiple software development and/or infrastructure teams.
Specific Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Ensure the team scrum ceremonies and scrum master activities are performed and are highly effective. This will involve directly performing these activities in your assigned delivery team (at least initially).
Ensuring that the scope of each project/programme and related backlog, is clearly understood by all involved parties, driving governance forums to ensure base-lining of scope and change control.
Supports resource and delivery planning against the product and technology roadmaps and conflicting priorities; identifying and handling technical dependencies with other workstreams. Working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Asana.
Builds and maintains detailed workstream plans and timelines, tracking delivery against key milestones and identifying Risks, Issues, Dependencies, Assumptions, detailing them and proactively resolving or mitigating them
Supports issue/impediment resolution, providing options and solutions to resolve delivery or technical blockers within the team and raising to the Delivery and Development Managers when required.
Ensure clear communication about project and team status through high quality written and verbal updates across a range of engineering, product and service colleagues.
