JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Event and Performance Management (EPM) team focuses on enhancing the operational efficiency and reliability of digital interactions within Sun Life’s enterprise ecosystem. Our discipline covers the oversight and enhancement of system availability, performance, and reliability as they interface with both human end-users and automated processes. Through continuous improvement, innovative problem-solving, and collaborative efforts across departments, we strive to develop cutting-edge strategies that maximize Sun Life’s value proposition. Our mission is to persistently elevate the quality and efficiency of all digital entities engaging with our applications and services.
The Delivery Lead will take on the Scrum of Scrums responsibility within EPM, utilizing scaled agile methodologies to coordinate multiple teams working collaboratively on complex solutions. This role focuses on enhancing the development and delivery of sophisticated products across teams by emphasizing transparency, regular assessment, and adaptability at a larger scale. In addition to monitoring overall delivery progress across all teams, the Delivery Lead will be responsible for orchestrating communication channels both between teams and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Agile best practices and principles within the IT infrastructure organization
  • Lead the EPM Leadership squad, collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to align on release goals and priorities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as release planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demonstrations for IT infrastructure teams
  • Organizes and facilitates Product Showcases (demo sessions) and EPM Townhalls
  • Collect and analyze release metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Identify and remove impediments that are hindering team progress
  • Coach and mentor IT infrastructure teams on Agile methodologies and techniques
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams
  • Continuously improve the release process and Agile practices
