We aim to become a very different organisation over the next few years as we move to a modern multi-platform, digitally enabled organisation.  About the role  We are looking for a Junior Technical Delivery Lead to join our Digital & Information (D&I) team in Swindon. This role supports the successful planning and coordination of technical initiatives across our engineering and enterprise systems teams.  Working closely with teams across infrastructure, enterprise platforms and digital services, you will play an important role in helping delivery activity run smoothly. You will support teams to organise and prioritise work, facilitate planning discussions and ensure stakeholders are kept informed as initiatives progress from planning through to release and service transition.  This role would suit someone who already has experience coordinating delivery within IT or digital teams and is looking to build on that experience in a role that combines delivery planning, stakeholder engagement and team facilitation within a technical environment.  You will act as a central point of coordination between technical teams and the wider organisation, helping to keep delivery focused and aligned to priorities. The role requires someone who is comfortable working in technical environments and understands how IT teams operate, but whose real strength lies in organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement.  Many of the services delivered within UKSBS support enterprise business systems and core digital platforms used across government organisations. Experience working in environments involving ERP or enterprise platforms such as Oracle, Workday or similar systems, as well as infrastructure or cloud-based services, will help you quickly understand how these teams deliver change and support critical services.   What you’ll be doing  * Facilitating delivery planning activities such as iteration planning, backlog readiness and review sessions  * Supporting technical teams to stay aligned on priorities and coordinating delivery across multiple initiatives  * Working with infrastructure, enterprise systems and digital teams to help ensure work progresses effectively  * Managing relationships with stakeholders and providing clear updates on delivery progress, risks and timelines  * Supporting testing, release and service transition activities as solutions move into production  * Encouraging teams to continuously improve how work is planned, prioritised and delivered  * Using delivery tooling such as Jira and Confluence to support transparent and organised ways of working  What we’re looking for  * Experience supporting delivery within IT or technical environments  * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills  * Experience facilitating planning sessions or coordinating delivery activity across teams  * Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep teams focused on agreed objectives  * Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding how IT services are delivered  * Experience using delivery or collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar platforms    In return for your skills and experience, we can offer you flexible and remote working options for a 37hr week (full time) with start and finish times between 8am – 6pm, or part time hours to suit.   For additional information and a confidential discussion please contact our Recruitment Team on recruiting@uksbs.co.uk.    We are an inclusive and Disability Confident employer and welcome all applications.   UKSBS does not hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence under the UK Immigration System, therefore candidates are required to have eligibility to live and work in the UK prior to applying.  We look forward to hearing from you.   We are UKSBS.
