Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us This is an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join our Customer, Product & Services team. The role will focus on collaboration with key stakeholders (Customer facing business units, Operations, Customer Product & Services, Risk and Technology) to understand the problem or opportunity and agree on the desired outcomes, determine solution options, and facilitate decision making. This is a full time, 18-month fixed term opportunity based in Auckland. It is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly. There is a broad skillset across existing team members which will also help with career growth in various avenues. What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Manage the full life cycle of projects including the development of a delivery plan, ensuring delivery is in line with funding and business outcomes Close management of risks and issues and leading resolution of any issues arising Stakeholder engagement with Technology, Risk, Business stakeholders across the Enterprise to achieve desired outcomes Risk assessment and management - risks, controls, obligations, mitigation, and documentation of these in our risk system. Ensure BNZ’s change approach and governance for initiatives are followed . What is your management style? I like to give my team plenty of autonomy but provide guidance up front and always make time for a discussion if needed. I’m available as an escalation and to provide support to remove roadblocks. What attributes will this person display to be successful in this role? To be successful in this role the candidate will need superior written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable facilitating meetings with a focus to drive outcomes in a respectful and professional way. Key requirements for this role are; Highly organised and self-driven who enjoys operating in ambiguity. Self-starter creates clarity and alignment. Delivery, Product and change management experience. Experience with process automation and system integration. Hands-on-experience with project management and agile processes. Proven stakeholder engagement.
