Job Description
The Delivery Programme Integration Lead is responsible for effective coordination of packages resulting in them being undertaken in an integrated manner, and combine to form a single integrated solution, to enable the sum of the parts to equal the whole. The role holder will assist the Delivery Implementation Director with the integrated delivery of the packages and the contracts. This role holder supports in the development of detailed programme plans and schedules to enable integrated delivery. The role holder will work to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. The Delivery Programme Implementation Lead is responsible for monitoring quality assurance processes, managing resources, providing regular updates and reporting on programme progress. This role involves managing technical outputs to drive efficiency within every part of the project with expertise in integrating various subsystems to ensure they function as a cohesive unit.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years’ experience in project management activities, with 7+ years’ direct integration experience managing the full project lifecycle, particularly in high-value metro rail projects or similar complex undertakings, with a strong emphasis on significant procurement activities from start to end of a project.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Experience working within a Public-Private Partnership environment.

FORMAL EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrable academic qualifications (NFQ Level 7 or 8) or equivalent in relevant subject area e.g., engineering, construction, project management
Responsibilities
  • Support the Delivery Integration Director in the establishment of standards for development and deployment of solutions across all of the project lifecycle phases (e.g. development, procurement, design, build, commission, placing into service, operation).
  • Support Integration of various packages (Reference Design, M100s, M400s, M500)
  • Ensure effective coordination and communication between the Delivery BIM Interface Manager and other project stakeholders (eg. Digital, Engineering)
  • Lead development of detailed plans outlining how different systems will be integrated, including timelines and milestones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all parties involved to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.
  • Recognise potential risks related to system integration and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Continuously monitor the integration process to identify and report issues promptly to the Delivery Integration Director.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure all deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Support the Delivery Integration Director with resource management to ensure the programme is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on programme progress to the Delivery Implementation Director and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor testing of integrated systems to ensure they work as intended.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance programme delivery.
  • Use digital tools and technologies to optimise the integration process and improve efficiency.
  • Encourage the use of best practices and innovative methods to enhance the integration process.
