Job Description The Opportunity We have an exciting fixed term opportunity for a Delivery Scheduler up until the end of August 2026. This role supports the planned and integrated delivery of WTA operations by improving efficiencies through safe and vigilant oversight of the delivery programme. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure the schedule of works remains accurate and up to date at all times. Support the delivery of physical works by in-house crews and subcontractors through effective administration and coordination of corridor access and TTM requirements. Report regularly on the progress of the delivery programme. Prioritise safety for individuals, work crews, and road users in all activities. Communicate and advise on weekly work schedules to maximise the use of planned TMPs, including common and project-specific closures. Create, monitor, and revise the master Delivery Forward Work Programme (FWP) to accurately detail the sequence of works, supporting an integrated operational approach. Liaise with the WTA Communications Team to support comprehensive external communication plans for all planned and programmed works. Advise subcontractors of closure timings and relevant details to ensure alignment and readiness. Collaborate with the relevant Project Managers or Leads to maintain visibility of an accurate programme for all applicable parties in Wrike. Provide scheduling advice to resolve challenges and support effective planning. Generate CAR numbers in Submitica to ensure TMC visibility of upcoming works and monitor approval status Identify and communicate any risks to programme delivery when receiving schedule updates or changes. Ensure daily closures are communicated accurately and promptly to internal and external stakeholders. About you You’ll demonstrate strong initiative and a proactive mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment while contributing to running a highly performing roading network.
