AMAZON DELIVERY STATION WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATEJOB OVERVIEW

You’ll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. You’ll load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers.

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team at Amazon in the United States. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and contributes significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will play a key role in managing inventory and supporting logistics processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong understanding of materials handling procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESSOME OF YOUR DUTIES MAY INCLUDE

• Receive and prepare inventory for delivery
• Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages

YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO:

• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Receive truck deliveries
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Manage order picking and packing processes to ensure accuracy.
• Handle materials with care while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking.
• Load and unload shipments with attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Assist in training new warehouse staff as needed.
