JOB SUMMARY

The delivery and store assistant person enjoys a varied and very active role in providing our operations with organisations skills and initiatives. Trigon Hotels have a long-established reputation of excellence in quality and service. Working alongside an established team, you will be responsible for a key part of our F&B operations by auditing deliveries, putting away those in designated areas, ensuring all delivery areas are kept in line with company standards, recording key data relating to those and implementing solutions that will result in higher efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and checking goods for damaged or missing items
Record necessary data into our HACCP system
Compare quantities ordered to quantities received on dockets
Spot check prices between receipts and contracted prices
Promptly decant deliveries as they come in and dispatch in designated areas
Record inventory in the store’s system
Use the first in first out system when storing items, stock rotation
Maintain all stockrooms and cold rooms clean & orderly
Maintain waste yard and back corridors clean & orderly
Maintain all areas clean and follow all HACCP and Healthy & Safety Guidelines
Assist the purchasing manager with stock take on a monthly basis
Input invoices into our purchasing software
Check use by date of goods and inform colleagues of it
Performing other stock-related duties, including returning supplies
Reporting discrepancies to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
Assessing procured goods and delivering them to the appropriate department.
Ensuring all non-conforming food is segregated away from acceptable produce
