At Switched On Housing, we help ensure whānau living in Kāinga Ora homes have safe, warm and comfortable places to live. We are looking for a Delivery Supervisor to join our team on a fixed term contract until 30 June 2027. This is a hands on role where you will take ownership of residential maintenance projects from scoping through to completion. You will work closely with Kāinga Ora, subcontractors, customers and internal teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will spend time both on site and behind the scenes, no two days are the same. You will be managing competing priorities, solving problems on the go, and building strong relationships with a wide range of people. As one of the key Maintenance Partners on the Te Mahi Ngātahi contract, Switched On Housing works with Kāinga Ora to help ensure homes are safe, warm, dry and comfortable. Our teams support communities from Tairāwhiti-Gisborne to Waitaha-Canterbury, delivering maintenance, repairs and housing improvements every day. What You will Be Doing Scope repair and maintenance work across Kāinga Ora properties Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades throughout project delivery Monitor site activity to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification Carry out quality assurance inspections and sign off completed works Ensure Health & Safety requirements are consistently met on site Maintain accurate job records, documentation and invoicing Build strong working relationships with customers, Kāinga Ora, subcontractors and internal teams Contribute to achieving contract performance targets and customer outcomes What We are Looking For Experience supervising, coordinating or delivering residential maintenance, construction or trade-based work Ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities at the same time A practical problem-solver who can make sound decisions under pressure Strong relationship-building skills with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders Strong organisational and problem-solving skills A commitment to quality workmanship and customer service Sound understanding of Health & Safety expectations in a construction or maintenance environment Why Join Us?
