Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.  In this position you will:  * Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).   * Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.   * Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.  * Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).   * Unload and accurately receive incoming product.     Requirements:   * Valid driver's license.  * Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).  * Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.  * Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.   * Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.  * Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).   * Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.  * Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program  * Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards  * Must be 21 years of age   * High school diploma or equivalent.    The Details:  This position is Monday - Friday from 7am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed.  The pay rate is $26-28/hr based on experience. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off (that you start earning immediately), Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of if you contribute!). Candidates for this position must have a good attitude, a desire to work hard with a great team, and the ability to be a self-starter.    The Mission:   At Amarr, we welcome the unique perspectives that each individual brings to our team.
