Overview
This role will support the logistics and warehouse teams and will require some onsite warehouse work and on the road delivery work.
Duties
- Assist driver with loading / unloading of vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Assist driver with delivery of goods to customers (requires some heavy lifting).
- Assist driver with maintenance of accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- Assist warehouse team with picking and packing of customer orders (using warehouse management system).
- Assist warehouse team with maintenance of cleanliness and organisation of warehouse and staff facilities.
Experience
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Previous experience as a driver’s mate or warehouse assistant beneficial.
- Flexible attitude and ability to work under pressure.
