Advise senior leaders on governance matters, corporate obligations, and regulatory best practices.
Support global operations by ensuring compliance, managing legal risks, and collaborating across business functions.

What will your typical day look like

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

An LLB (or equivalent law degree) from a highly regarded law school.
Minimum of 5-7 years as a practicing attorney, ideally with in-house counsel experience in corporate compliance and corporate governance.
Experience supporting the preparation and submission of corporate filings with corporate registries and regulators in the UK and other jurisdictions.
Experience supporting the preparation and submission of ESG filings in the UK and EU.
Experience supporting Boards and Executives on UK corporate governance matters and corporate governance best practices.
Experience with or willingness to learn about know-your-client processes with banks and other counterparties.
Highly client-service oriented with a proven commitment to quality.
Experience with cross-functional teams such as finance, sustainability, procurement, and risk.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships across the Deloitte network and externally.
