Piper Companies is seeking a Delta V MES (Syncade) Automation Support Engineer to join a growing leader in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology space for a 6+ month contracted, onsite position located in Holly Springs, NC. The Delta V MES (Syncade) Automation Support Engineer will support the design, implementation, and testing of a DeltaV MES (Syncade) solution to enable integrated, paperless manufacturing across a large-scale pharmaceutical production facility.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DELTA V MES (SYNCADE) AUTOMATION SUPPORT ENGINEER INCLUDE:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV MES (Syncade).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot MES behavior, migrate solution components, and support configuration activities.
• Familiarity with regulated environments, including cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5, S88, and ISA 95 standards.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Event Viewer, and scripting or query languages such as VBScript, XML, and SQL is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.

• Design and support implementation of a DeltaV MES (Syncade) solution for a highly integrated, paperless manufacturing environment.
• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and collaborate with internal automation, validation, QA, and engineering teams.
• Review and contribute to system documentation including User Requirements Specifications (URS), Process Requirement Specifications (PRS), and design lifecycle materials.
• Translate system and functional requirements into comprehensive test protocols and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with infrastructure setup, recipe configuration, software installation, and debugging within the MES platform.
