Description

The Americas Central Marketing Organization (CMO) takes the lead in B2B marketing across various solutions and industries for Microsoft in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. With a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, the Americas CMO focuses on two critical aspects: preparing customers for purchase through integrated marketing campaigns and equipping sellers with the intelligence needed for effective conversations and pipeline development. This role is an integral part of the Microsoft Americas Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team.
As a Demand Generation Specialist, you will be at the heart of our Marketing Operations Team, a pivotal group within Microsoft’s Central Marketing Organization (CMO). In this role, you connect strategy with execution, orchestrating data-driven marketing programs that run seamlessly across the organization. Our team plays an essential role in translating big-picture marketing plans into impactful campaigns—you will collaborate across departments, build strong stakeholder relationships, and proactively streamline processes to help our marketing efforts deliver results at scale.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ years experience in integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years experience in B2B email marketing, including automation, audience segmentation and targeting, testing, reporting, and attribution.
  • 1+ years experience using email marketing platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Hubspot, etc.
  • 1+ years experience summarizing, interpreting, analyzing and communicating demand generation performance insights across various levels of an organization.
  • 1+ years experience managing complex projects and ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (including technical teams) to drive marketing programs.

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ year(s) experience in B2B email marketing, including automation, audience segmentation and targeting, testing, reporting, and attribution.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale demand generation campaigns in a global, matrixed organization with budgets upward of $1.5M USD.
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven marketing tools (e.g., AI-based content personalization or predictive analytics) to improve demand generation outcomes.
  • Current or prior Marketo Certified Expert designation.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or similar credential.
    Field Integrated Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Campaign & Media Execution: Support the demand generation process from intake to execution, including planning and deploying email, paid media, and social tactics. Use internal tools to track campaign requests, coordinate assignments, facilitate reviews/approvals, and ensure alignment with overall strategy and execution guidelines.

  • AI-Driven Campaign Scaling: Enhance and scale campaign execution processes by leveraging AI tools to automate workflows, optimize targeting, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely with marketing, operations, and analytics teams to execute and refine demand generation initiatives. Engage proactively with key stakeholders—gather requirements, provide regular performance updates, and ensure alignment with marketing goals while building strong working relationships.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics. Present insights and recommendations that drive continuous improvement.
