ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a Supply Chain discipline.
  • Planning mastery – understanding of key systems (such as SAP, JDA, OMP, Excel, o9) with experience of Supply Planning and knowledge of Supply Chain end to end.

Responsibilities

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

Coty is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join the Travel Retail Asia Pacific team as Demand Insights & S&OP Manager based in Singapore .
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, TR APAC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization can effectively meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing costs and driving overall supply chain efficiency.
The position leads the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure seamless alignment between demand, supply, and financial planning objectives. This role is pivotal in driving collaboration, enhancing forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory, and ensuring operational excellence.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and lead short-term operational strategies, aligned with the Planning vision and long-term strategy, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement so that KPIs and deliverables are successfully executed.
  • Daily operational leadership to deliver best in practice processes and ensuring all tasks are based on the segmentation principles.
  • Build dependable and partnering relationships with key stakeholders across a global network to deliver targets.
  • Lead the resolution of problems escalated, by creating mitigation plans and engaging the team to the solutions, following the relevant process, and escalating further where appropriate.
  • Ensure alignment across the team to maintain consistency in S&OP practices and execution.
  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring smooth facilitation and alignment across functions (commercial, marketing, finance, supply chain).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate and present insights at executive S&OP meetings.
  • Partner with finance, marketing, and commercial teams to develop annual business plans aligned with strategic objectives by leading the preparation of volume and value forecasts to support the annual budget process.
  • Ensure that market insights, risks, and opportunities are accurately captured and acted upon within the planning process to improve reliability and responsiveness.
  • Oversee demand forecasting and readiness for product launches, transitions, and discontinuations.
  • Provide input and insights to the Regional S&OP team to validate and align local S&OP planning with regional objectives.
  • Communicate local market dynamics, risks, opportunities, and key assumptions to support regional decision-making.
  • Present supply results, drivers, risks on business meetings, develop action plan to close the gaps
  • Partner with Global supply chain teams to ensure smooth product supply and mitigate disruptions.
  • Lead strategic action plans to improve KPIs, processes and methodologies used in the S&OP process.
  • Regularly report on key metrics, including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory performance. Key Success Measures are Fill Rate , Accuracy (MAPE90) & Bias (SPP3)
  • Lead, own and drive risk management, business results improvement and cost reduction plans within area of responsibility.

Continuous Improvement

  • Champion the development and improvement of processes and tools using analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to develop their ideas/ways of working.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, gain buy in and lead the implementation successfully by engaging the team.
  • Own and drive RCA (root cause analysis) processes.

Project Management

  • Represent Planning initiatives and projects delivery in leadership forums.
  • Lead projects as necessary, ensuring successful delivery through collaborative working relationships.
