Role Definition Supports customer inquiries for order lead time and order configuration change. Responsible for new orders and order change, make sure requests can be successfully received by order system. Responsibilities • Supervising and controlling new sales orders, identifying the key elements and communicate downstream for required actions. • Auditing order change requests from customers, evaluate acceptance of the order change request from a material, production plan, technical and logistics perspective. • Serving as primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, planned timeline, order change, order reschedules, etc. • Aligned customers order with Sales production plan to achieve the monthly goal. • Primary contact with other departments departament to manage sales and customer priorities. Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment. Level Basic Understanding: • Describes alternative data-gathering techniques and tools. • Documents basic data-gathering methodologies. • Identifies the purposes of data gathering and analysis. • Identifies key objectives in gathering and analyzing data. Demand Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of Demand Management; ability to effectively sense, predict, plan for and manage the demand for products and services. Level Working Knowledge: • Assists in the collection and preparation of required demand information. • Participates in the preparation of short-term demand management for a specific product or site. • Produces basic demand management reports for senior staff to reconcile the demand balances. • Summarizes and reports problems such as issues and concerns currently existing in demand management operations. • Uses tools, with guidance, to predict and plan demand, assess seasonal factors and trends and effectively influence demand. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Level Working Knowledge: • Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient. • Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness. • Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work. • Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate. • Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups. Forecasting: Knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads. Level Basic Understanding: • Identifies common forecasting tools and techniques. • Describes the roles and responsibilities of demand forecasting staff. • Explains sources of information for forecasting demand. • Names several forecasting indexes or measurements. Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. Level Basic Understanding: • Seeks help to modify priorities as new information surfaces or conditions change. • Demonstrates the ability to estimate the time and resources required to complete tasks. • Identifies own key assignments, schedules, and process steps. • Applies the concept of 'critical path' in order to complete work in a timely manner and keep larger tasks on track.
