In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting demand for a range of automotive parts and products, ensuring that our supply chain is perfectly aligned with market needs. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop accurate forecasts, manage inventory levels, and support our business growth. Responsibilities: Operationally: Generate and maintain accurate demand forecasts for automotive products using historical data, market trends, and business intelligence. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product management, to gather market insights and validate forecasts. Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and customer orders to identify trends, forecast errors, and opportunities for improvement. Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process Manage inventory levels to optimize stock while minimizing carrying costs and mitigating stock-outs. Identify and resolve demand-related issues, working cross-functionally to ensure a smooth supply chain. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy and customer service levels. Strategically: Streamline inefficient practices and processes. Develop process standardization. Drive sharing of best practices. Perform problem solving and customer-oriented solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience in a demand planning or supply chain role, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in forecasting software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis) Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
