Job Details Job Location: 7500 - Skokie, IL 60077 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $77,000.00 - $86,000.00 Salary Job Shift: First Shift The Demand Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving demand forecasts to support efficient production planning, inventory management, and customer service. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to align demand plans with business objectives while minimizing risk and variability. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business inputs Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate promotions, new products, and customer insights into forecasts Work closely with Production Planning and Supply Chain teams to align demand with capacity and inventory strategies Review forecast for accuracy and adjust plans as needed to address changes in demand or supply constraints Analyze demand variances and provide insights and recommendations to improve planning processes Work to align with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities Maintain Demand Planning tools, systems, and reports to ensure data integrity and visibility Identify opportunities to improve forecasting methods, tools, and cross-functional communication Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field 2 Years of previous experience in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain within a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail and a self-starter mentality Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP and demand planning systems Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
