• Create an unbiased baseline statistical forecast to cover reasonable customer demand based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.in support of high customer fill rates and healthy inventory levels.
• Execute exception-based analysis to identify drivers in forecast error variances to quantify and implement changes to improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
• Work with cross functional teams to develop a collaborative consensus forecast.
• Data Mining - must be able to pull pertinent data and extract useful knowledge using Stratum Viewer, Microsoft Power BI, LX / IDF (ERP) software packages and Salesforce
• Utilize Forecast Pro or subsequent statistical forecasting tools in building and monitoring forecasts
• Manage forecast demand assumptions and expectations
• Closely coordinate and communicate demand requirements with supply planning in support of a formal S&OP program.
• Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion for new item forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain relevant reports/spreadsheets/training documentation pertaining to demand and forecasting planning process.
