Demand Planner - hybrid
As a Demand Planner at Honeywell, in Bucharest, you will be responsible for developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand pattern and developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances
  • Interacting with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers
  • Providing input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
  • Challenge assumptions: Use a critical mindset to challenge assumptions and get to the best plan.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Any Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Min 3+ years of experience in Demand /Operations Production planning/materials management or Sales Inventory Operations Planning related functional areas.
  • Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module)
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
