JOB DESCRIPTION

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of the demand planning process, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts across all product categories. The role partners with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand plans, utilizing advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making and improve forecast accuracy. The role develops and refines sophisticated demand planning models and tools, enhancing inventory management procedures. The role manages talent across the demand planning team, overseeing activities such as performance management and career development. The role implements demand planning software to optimize forecasting accuracy and fosters continuous improvement within the function.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Exposure to Financial Analysis or Demand planning
• Understanding of Philips Demand and Supply Planning process
• Proven experience and knowledge of the supply chain, procurement process and flows and S&OP process.
• You hold a relevant degree in Business Administration, Sales, Finance, Data Analytics, or equivalent, with experience in the medical devices sector being highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling confident interaction with executives and stakeholders.
• Deep analytical skills paired with commercial acumen allow you to provide real-world insights that drive decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive under strict deadlines are key qualities for success in this role.
• Advanced in Excel and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, O9, and Salesforce are part of your skillset.
