Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planning Analyst to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and improve demand forecasting effectiveness. This role is critical to managing forecast accuracy, driving process automation, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, exposure to ERP systems, and a curiosity for AI and statistical modeling. Experience with Power BI is highly desired, but not essential.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales forecasts across all business channels
  • Coordinate and schedule monthly S&OP pre-meetings with cross-functional leaders
  • Facilitate updates to the forecast based on input from Sales and Channel teams
  • Compile and distribute forecast accuracy reports and KPI dashboards
  • Maintain and track forecast performance metrics
  • Manipulate and analyze large datasets using Excel and Anaplan
  • Create and maintain monthly presentation decks using PowerPoint
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort
  • Build and/or support Power BI dashboard development
  • Lead or support ad hoc data analysis to identify demand trends
  • Collaborate across departments to support continuous improvement in forecasting

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and interpret large datasets
  • Working knowledge of S&OP processes
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Strong Excel capabilities (vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, NetSuite, Anaplan)
  • Interest in AI and statistical modeling
  • Power BI experience (highly desired)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level reporting and presentations

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning, analytics, or supply chain support roles

Preferred Certifications:

  • APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Experience with Anaplan, Power BI, Python, or R is a plus
