Job Description Job Purpose: The position serves to the Demand Planning function for all product categories in all business franchises. This individual shall work very closely with all commercial functions to align the demand planning process to the business operations in real time. This individual will also work with the site supply chain teams to ensure a continuous supply of products and inventory management to support the business. The individual will be responsible for ensuring all relevant Supply Chain Planning systems are appropriately developed, maintained, and improved, including managing demand forecasting, supply of product to the markets, inventory management keeping track of key KPIs of DOH, Product availability. Work closely with the Commercial team for demand forecasting and challenge assumptions to arrive at one forecast. Manage activities related to planning, forecasting including statistical analysis and transmitting forecast to global planning system (IBP) Job Duties & Description: • Establish processes and procedures for coordination of demand planning activities with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance and global supply teams. Work closely with different stakeholders to develop and implement a robust demand forecast for the company (across all product lines). • Collaborate extensively with internal business leaders to drive handshake between agreed demand forecast and resultant supply plan. The role holder shall be required to do monthly deep diving of forecast accuracy scores with commercial team and business leaders to drive improvement in FA score and better product availability. • Adopt/embrace new supply chain demand planning practices in accordance with changing practices to drive operational efficiencies including effective use of SAP IBP and planning modules used across pharma industry. • Co-develop supply plans with global supply planners and manage and maintain supply pipeline aligned to demand plan •Enable planning for label changes/MRP Implementation- Strong understanding of artwork changes and import license related regulations are needed to develop supply plans and ensure supply continuity amidst changes driven by pharma regulations. • Make recommendations to enhance business processes related to demand generation and product liquidation, thereby identifying opportunities to drive operational efficiency. • Ensure effective physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows. • Ensure master data update of planning parameters in SAP MDG and maintenance for all products to ensure replenishment/ supply planning. • Act as Supply Chain SPOC for new product launches collaborating extensively with Regulatory Affairs team and Global Supply Chain teams to bring product in the country per country launch plan and pipeline. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Please note the percentage of time spent on each job duty is an estimate for normal operating conditions. 50% - Working with Regional/Area Supply Chain and India Commercial and Finance teams to ensure reliable Demand Forecast for Cluster in support of S&OP process. 30% - Working with OPU/Site Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted supply of product to Cluster. 20% project initiatives in planning domain and other Supply Chain workstream Education & Experience Requirements: · Essential: Progressive experience of 3 to 7 years in various demand planning and supply planning roles within the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare industry. · Desirable: Knowledge of SAP IBP and ERP systems including packages relating to supply chain mgmt. · Effective written and oral communication skills are required to facilitate information flow across internal / external supply chain partners and senior leadership. · Knowledge of different aspects of regulatory compliance that impact a pharmaceutical supply chain. This can include but is not limited to GxP considerations, label development and artwork lifecycle understanding and understanding of QMS elements · Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability in driving change within an organization. This could include systems, processes or tools to drive success while managing and aligning key stakeholders · Able to recognize the importance of meeting business needs and balance cost, quality and customer service · Impact through successful leadership and development of plans based on a sound understanding of the external market, internal requirements and the ability to determine and then leverage the market place. Other Job Components · Ability to manage the day to day Supply Chain Planning Operations for the country; and meet simultaneously, the goals of Country, Business Unit and Supply Chain.
