EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in supply chain or forecasting is preferred.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Demand Planning Manager to join our team in Heerlen. In this key role, you will lead forecasting and planning efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and support business growth across multiple markets and sales channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective demand planning strategies to forecast product needs across various markets and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with teams in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to gather insights and align on forecast assumptions.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with the Product Lifecycle Management team to support the introduction of new products and manage the phase-out of existing ones.
  • Work with the Supply Planning team to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize product shortages, and reduce excess stock.
  • Create and present reports and performance metrics to monitor forecasting accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity to proactively adjust forecasting strategies.
