Position Overview

We're looking for a Supply & Demand Planning Lead to own end-to-end demand and supply planning across our Australian plant and liaising with other plants in other regions. You'll lead the S&OP process, turning commercial demand into actionable production and materials plans, while driving visibility, service, and cost outcomes across Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Procurement. This is a key role in driving efficiency, service, and cost performance across our network. You'll work closely with multiple functions and directly influence how we deliver for our customers, now and as we grow.

What you'll do

  • Lead the full demand and supply planning cycle across multiple business units and plants.
  • Orchestrate S&OP, balancing commercial demand, capacity, and cost.
  • Track and monitor imports working with the different plants outside of Australia to guarantee the smooth delivery
  • Translate forecasts into firm production schedules and materials plans, managing freeze/flex rules.
  • Drive inventory strategy, optimisation, and health across the network.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Logistics to mitigate constraints and model cost-to-serve scenarios.
  • Steward planning systems (ERP/MRP/APS) and champion data quality and digital improvement initiatives.
  • Lead special projects, network optimisations, and site consolidation planning.
  • Coordinate special orders to big projects (Hotels, commercial buildings….) to deliver the project on time.
  • Build clear dashboards and reporting for executives and key stakeholders.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • 8–12+ years in integrated planning, with strong experience across both demand and supply.
  • Deep S&OP ownership and commercial acumen to balance demand, capacity, service, and cost.
  • Strong analytical skills: forecasting, scenario modelling, Excel/SQL, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP and advanced planning systems.
  • Multi-plant planning experience, including offshore operations.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills across teams and functions.
  • Highly organised, results-driven, and able to operate at both detailed and system-level views.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

About the Role

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end demand planning, forecasting, production planning, and scheduling function across multiple sites.

This role ensures customer demand is accurately forecasted, translated into achievable production plans, and monitored against actual orders and schedule adherence.

The position will lead a Demand Planner and production scheduler/planners, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement across planning processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the monthly and weekly demand planning process, developing and maintaining rolling forecasts using historical demand, customer inputs, sales trends, and market insights
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to validate assumptions, and identify demand risks and opportunities Monitor forecast accuracy and compare demand plans against actual orders, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve reliability
  • Maintain clear visibility of demand changes, supply constraints, and potential service impacts across the network
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling across multiple sites, ensuring alignment to forecast demand, capacity, materials, and inventory targets
  • Monitor schedule adherence and support site teams with analysis of deviations, delays, and inefficiencies
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, schedule stability, and overall service performance
  • Maintain planning parameters and master data within ERP/MRP systems to ensure accurate and reliable outputs
  • Lead, coach, and develop Demand Planners and Production Schedulers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field (preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Demonstrated experience in Demand Forecasting / Planning. Production scheduling in a multi site manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing staff across multiple location.
  • Experience utilising MRP/ERPs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
