MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct monthly demand review with Commercial /marketing to consolidate Demand/Sales Forecasts to prepare the month Purchase plan submission:  * Reviews the forecast valuation and compares it with the financial, sales and inventory estimates. When needed, establish a corrective action plan with commercials and ensure they amend their forecasts accordingly. * Supports and captures key business drivers (e.g. market share, trade/promotional activity, inventory requirements, competitive activity) to understand their impact on current and future forecasts. Translates that insight into improvements in forecast accuracy * Collaborates with Marketing, NPI and Procurement teams to plan for new product introductions and product end-of-life (EOL) to minimize obsolescence.  * Creates and manages SKU forecast to support service demand, minimize freight costs, and optimize inventory levels.  * Partners with stakeholders to assure forecasts can be translated into actionable supply chain plans that optimize inventory and maximize customer service * Works with commercial team, suppliers & APAC SCM team to ensure distribution network is prepared for NPL (New Product Launch) and smooth EOL (End-Of-Life) with minimal write-offs.  * Capture mid/long term ‘unconstraint’ Sales & Demand for appropriate capacity planning to suppliers. * Prepares monthly, quarterly & annual Purchase plan forecast. * Generate and prepare monthly/bi-monthly stock orders & PO submission. * Ensures (cross regional) best practices and policies related to monthly S&OP are established, trained upon being adhered to throughout the planning process. * Manage inventories to meet sales demand and MOS (Month of Supply, DIO (Days of Inventory on Hand) targets and establish healthy inventory level forecast and stock accuracy with no OOS (Out-Of-Stock). * Continuously improve demand planning forecast accuracy and bias KPIs.  QUALIFICATIONS * Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering and Business Management. * Experience: * Minimum 3 years of related experience in demand supply planning in a FMCG, Retail or manufacturing environment.  * S&OP and warehouse operation experience will be added to the advantage. * Experience with WMS, SAP, Oracle or equivalent. Experience with Microsoft AX will be an added advantage but not required. * Knowledge and Hard Skills: * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders (i.e. management, cross department & ground staff). * Analytical and problem-solving skills: able to design/reengineer processes. * Entrepreneurial and innovative: to build the Demand Planning organization from scratch. * It has a clear vision on S&OP. * Intermediate skills with Microsoft office package, particularly Excel. Responsibilities
