In this role, you will be the key administrative contact for patients, their families, and the clinical team, ensuring smooth coordination of appointments, eligibility assessments, treatment schedules, and patient records. You will provide vital support to neurology consultants, clinical nurse specialists, and the private patient team, ensuring a seamless and compassionate patient experience.

As a Dementia Pathway Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the private Lecanemab treatment pathway for patients with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Key responsibilities include:
Scheduling patient appointments, including eligibility assessments, MRIs, and twice-monthly infusions.
Managing patient records, ensuring accurate tracking of treatment schedules and financial records.
Providing administrative support to consultants, clinical nurse specialists, and the private patient team.
Acting as the first point of contact for patient and family queries, offering clear and compassionate communication.
Liaising with multiple departments including Private Consulting Rooms, Queen Square Imaging Centre, and the Homecare Team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Supporting service improvement initiatives and contributing to the efficiency of the dementia treatment pathway.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
