We are seeking an experienced and passionate Demi Chef to join the culinary team at our luxury beachfront hotel. Perfectly positioned on the beachfront, this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and enjoys the variety of both à la carte service and large-scale events. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and present high-quality dishes across à la carte, banquets, buffet, and room service. Organise and manage your assigned section to ensure smooth service. Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation in line with recipes and standards. Ensure food safety, hygiene, stock rotation, and minimal wastage. Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and equipment well maintained in accordance with HACCP requirements. Support and mentor junior team members while working collaboratively with the wider Kitchen team. Qualifications About You! You are a passionate and motivated chef who takes pride in producing quality food and thrives in a busy, service-focused environment. You enjoy working as part of a supportive team and have: Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel or busy restaurant Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow Energetic, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced coastal luxury setting Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays A team-focused attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for guests Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential Additional Information Why Join Manly Pacific?
