Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Demi Chef De Partie specializing in Asian Cuisine to join our culinary team in Mysuru, India. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Chef De Partie to prepare and execute Asian dishes with precision and excellence. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while contributing to a dynamic and efficient kitchen environment. Prepare and cook Asian cuisine dishes according to established recipes and plating standards Assist in the preparation of mise en place and ensure all ingredients are properly organized and accessible Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including woks, steamers, and specialized Asian cooking tools Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols Support the Chef De Partie in menu execution during service periods Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food preparation Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed to meet organizational standards Assist in inventory management and report on ingredient usage and stock levels Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station at all times Follow all company policies and procedures related to food preparation and kitchen operations Qualifications Proven experience working as a Demi Chef De Partie or similar culinary position in an Asian cuisine kitchen Advanced proficiency in Asian cooking techniques including wok cooking, steaming, stir-frying, and other traditional methods Comprehensive knowledge of various Asian cuisines (Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, or Southeast Asian) Strong understanding of Asian ingredients, flavor profiles, and culinary traditions Excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance Attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and quality Preferred: Experience in menu development or recipe adaptation Preferred: Knowledge of inventory management systems Preferred: Experience mentoring or training junior culinary staff Job-Category: Culinary Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
