As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent food safety standards. Assist the Chefs in preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain smooth operations during service Participate in menu planning and development of new dishes Manage and organize your station, including mise en place and clean-up Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your assigned section Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen Assist with food cost control and minimizing waste Qualifications Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification in culinary arts Valid food safety certification Proven experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen setting Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, techniques, and international cuisines Excellent knife skills and ability to operate standard kitchen equipment Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer skills for inventory management and recipe documentation Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus Job-Category: Culinary Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
