We are seeking a Demi Chef de Partie. This role is perfect for a culinary professional looking to develop their skills and take on responsibility within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will help prepare and present high-quality hot dishes, maintain kitchen standards, and contribute to smooth service operations. Key responsibilities Prepare and cook hot menu items ensuring consistent quality, portion control and presentation. Assist the Chef de Partie with daily mise en place, stock rotation and ordering as required. Execute dishes during service periods, coordinating with other kitchen stations to maintain timely service and minimise waste. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and local regulations. Support training and supervision of junior kitchen staff and kitchen porters when required. Contribute to menu development and daily specials, offering creative input and suggestions to improve dishes. Skills and experience Previous experience in a similar role within a hot kitchen, ideally in a busy restaurant, hotel or Private proeprty Strong cooking skills with a good understanding of hot food techniques, portioning and timing. Knowledge of food safety and HACCP Ability to work under pressure, multitask and maintain attention to detail during service. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and flexible approach to shift patterns including evenings and weekends.
