Job Description The role involves assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in recipes, and contributing to an efficient and professional kitchen environment. Assist in the preparation and cooking of Thai cuisine according to established recipes and standards. Ensure authenticity of Thai flavors, ingredients, and presentation techniques. Prepare mise en place for daily service. Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating standards. Support live cooking stations or specialty outlets when required. Maintain strict adherence to food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards. Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation (FIFO). Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment. Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and senior culinary leaders. Support smooth kitchen operations during service periods. Assist with inventory control and stock management. Minimize food wastage and control costs. Qualifications Previous experience as Demi Chef De Partie or similar role (Thai cuisine preferred). Strong knowledge of Thai ingredients, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes. Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Team player with willingness to learn and develop.
